Here’s the deal. North Rhine-Westphalia doesn’t have a holiday today, but for me, every day is a weekend or a holiday—which is nice in its own way!
So, from me to all of you: have a wonderful holiday or workday, and definitely a great weekend!
It’s still the height of summer here—the washing machine and fan are running full blast, but I’m not exactly spinning along with them. That said, it’s not as stifling as yesterday—already much more pleasant.

Here in Baden-Württemberg, it wasn’t a holiday either—but for me, it doesn’t matter anyway—I’ve been able to enjoy the day however I want since this month. So I’m joining Inge and Veronika.
