Do you still remember the basic pattern for crocheting granny squares?
I’ve now turned these practice pieces into wrist warmers.
It’s very simple and easy for anyone, even beginners, to make if you’ve mastered the basic stitches I mentioned in the pattern.
Leftover yarn is enough.
Lots of colorful leftover yarn and a slightly larger ball of a matching color.
Depending on the material used, approx. 60 g (solid color plus leftovers) of cotton and also approx. 55–60 g (main color plus leftovers) of sock yarn are enough for 1 pair of wrist warmers for delicate women’s hands.
Of course, the amount used depends on the size of the wrist warmers, the length of the cuffs, and how tightly you crochet.
For the wrist warmers as shown, I used a total of 60 g of cotton yarn. The
cuff could have been a little longer, but I didn’t have enough of my solid-color yarn left.
