Nice cuffs: Any tips?

Dear Community,
Do you have any tips for nice, comfortable cuffs that don’t stretch out too quickly?

I like to knit cuffs in a cable pattern.
Cables made of 4 knit stitches that are crossed after a few rows. In between, I knit 1 or 2 purl stitches, depending on how the stitch count works out. This is elastic and doesn’t stretch out.

Alternating 1 twisted knit stitch and 1 purl stitch also works well and stays sturdy.

It’s also helpful to use a slightly smaller needle size for knitting the cuffs.
For example, if you’re knitting your sweater with 3 mm needles, knit the cuffs with 2.5 mm needles.
