I need help—what does “6/7 together” mean?
That means decreasing, right?

I’d say it’s a decrease: knit/crochet the 6th and 7th stitches together.

If you want to be absolutely sure, it’s best to ask the author of the pattern.

I didn’t read carefully enough. FM probably stands for “single crochet,” so this is about crocheting.

Does “zus.” mean “cast off” or “decrease”?

For every 6th and 7th stitch, I’d assume it means a decrease—if you finish them completely, there’ll be a hole.

Insert the hook into the front loop of the 6th stitch, pull up a loop—you now have 2 loops on the hook—insert the hook into the front loop of the 7th stitch, and pull up a loop. You now have 3 loops on the crochet hook. Crochet these together as single crochet. Now you’ve crocheted one stitch from two stitches.
