Dear community,
Sock yarn can be used for more than just socks. What else do you use sock yarn for?

I knitted a jacket for my husband with it. That used up a large amount of the yarn. It had been sitting in the closet for a very long time.

So far, almost exclusively for socks, but I did make a scarf out of it once.

For jackets, sweaters, hats, scarves, shawls, wrist warmers, and blankets.

Sock yarn is also great for gloves. I like to use up leftover yarn in my projects, too.

Depending on the blend, I also use it to make dolls. Since it’s nice and thin, the end result is beautifully delicate.
