Dear users, dear designers,
if I’ve understood correctly, you can buy ready-made stuffing, but you can also buy pillows and use the filling. You can also use short pieces of leftover yarn or small fabric scraps for stuffing? What else can you use?

Foam scraps or in a compact form—horsehair works too.

Old teddy bears are filled with wood wool—that works too, but it isn’t washable. I also use socks or faded T-shirts that I cut into small pieces.

You can also cut up leftover wool yarn into small pieces and use it as stuffing.

It really depends on what you’re stuffing.
Dolls and stuffed animals can also be stuffed well with wool batting or wool from a skein (felting wool).

I use leftover yarn or filter wool from aquarium supply stores as filling material. It’s cheaper than wadding from craft stores.

I have a whole box of mismatched socks... I think other old clothes would work, too—as long as they’re cut up into small pieces.

Sheer tights or stockings also make great stuffing. I’ve used them in washable children’s toys.
