Christmas Tree Ornaments + Nativity Scenes / Nativity Figures for Christmas 2024

Now is the time to create lovely DIY patterns for Christmas tree ornaments , nativity scenes , and nativity figures so you can make your Christmas 2024 cozy.

No matter what color your Christmas decorations are supposed to be this year: You can make these stars in any color!



The stars are suitable both for the Christmas tree and for decorating any vertical surface. They are made of photo cardstock, approx. 12 x 12 x 2 cm, and are very easy to craft with a little crafting experience.

If you’d like to have a beautiful nativity scene with hand-crocheted figures for Christmas, you might want to start now. My shop offers 3 patterns for nativity figures, so you can start with a basic set and gradually expand your nativity scene. The figures are about 10 cm tall, so they don’t take up too much space but are still large enough to be adorned with lovely details. All figures can be crocheted from leftover yarn. In the patterns, I’ve specified for each figure which type and how much yarn I used. This way, you can compare it with your own leftovers and create your very own, unique nativity scene.


Basic Set: Holy Family (Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus in the manger, ox, donkey, poinsettia)


1st Addition: 3 shepherds, 3 sheep, Christmas angel



2nd Addition: Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar with their gifts, as well as 1 camel, 1 elephant, and 1 horse
