Does anyone have experience with crocheted or knitted items that are left outside in the elements? Which type of yarn or wool holds up best in those conditions? Thanks for any tips!

Just a guess…—all natural fibers are subject to decay—so I’d generally say that, if anything, only synthetic yarns are suitable for this.

I made a little cotton/bamboo hat for a pole (it just happened to fit). After about 4 months of sun and rain, it’s almost completely faded.
So that one probably isn’t the best choice...
