Busy little elves: who can make the most stitches per day?

Dear users, dear authors,
dear little elves,
are you busy today? How many stitches can you make today / this week?

I actually had to do the math—I’ve never really paid attention to that before.
I’m feeling a little under the weather and really run down; I thought I wouldn’t get anything done today, but I did manage to crochet a little after all. I ended up with 454 stitches.

Get well soon, for starters...

I’ve knitted about 50 stitches. I’ve got a chameleon on my needle. I cast on two stitches—it’s turning out really tiny. I’m knitting with sock yarn, and the finished chameleon fits in one hand.... It’s a bit too fiddly for tonight, though

I don’t have any stitches to count right now. I’m either at the sewing machine or reading a book. Oh, and I’m doing some gardening.

My 7th pattern block for my blanket is finished. I’m planning to work on No. 8 this afternoon. 

Crocheted 428 stitches this morning, maybe a few more later. 

Sewed at lunchtime; that was about umpteen thousand stitches. 😎

Counting stitches is hard, but today I sewed 31.5 x 31.5 cm of fabric

@anja I’m making a blanket out of old bed linens, table linens, and old shirts and blouses. Right now I’m sewing it on the machine. I’ll decide later whether to finish it by hand.

@inge Thank you. It’s a lot of fun, and since I got the right tools, the seams and edges are coming out better, too.

Now I’m going to take a blouse apart.....

What’s the right tool?

Is it that bedsheet from Lidl with the roses on it? 

I bought a rotary cutter quite a while ago. But without a cutting mat—just using cardboard—it didn’t work very well. Now, with a cutting mat and my cutting ruler, I’m really happy. In the instructional video or here on Chris’s blog, you can clearly see what makes quilting easier.

The rose-patterned fabric is from the Swedish store—bought 10 years ago, so it’s well-aged.
