I hope you all have a pleasant weekend with nice weather and plenty of time for crafts. What are your plans?

We won’t be seeing any sun here, though; it’s been raining all day, and it’s not supposed to get much better tomorrow or the day after.
But that’s okay—there’s always plenty to do, and tomorrow evening I’m meeting up with some dear friends. Plus, the yarn I ordered has arrived, so I’ll be doing some crocheting, too.

Thank you all so much! I, too, wish everyone here a sunny and lovely summer weekend. We’ll be spending it with friends.

It rained so hard here this morning that even my husband—who usually isn’t easily woken up—woke up because it was pouring down so loudly. It stopped around 9:30, and since then we’ve had the best muggy laundry-room feeling you can imagine.
Since I already made our ice cream for the weekend today (this time it’s blueberry and apricot, though there’s also peach and pineapple ice cream in the freezer), I can continue knitting the teddy bear I have on my needles tomorrow.

I’m planning to visit a craft market and hope it doesn’t rain.

Right now, it’s raining a lot, which makes planning almost impossible.

First thing tomorrow, I have to go buy a laptop. Mine gave out about an hour ago.

After that, I’ll keep crocheting the Turkish wedding shawl. A friend (a yarn winder) wants to take it to the fairs.

A thunderstorm is raging right above us right now. Spooky 

I also wish all of you here a sunny weekend, and lots of fun crafting and enjoying some ice cream.
Today, for the first time in a long while, I went to the hairdresser—just a little trim and a subtle color touch-up.
It started drizzling on the way there, but then the sun came out, and I made it home without getting wet. My hair still looks good.
My suitcase is packed—we’re leaving tomorrow for our long-awaited river cruise (Rhine–Moselle–Loreley–Trier…). I’m really looking forward to it.
I’ll be taking my tablet with me and will try to check in while I’m away.

Thank you. Yes, it is very airy and simply MEGA beautiful

According to the pattern, you can use any yarn. 

My friend sent me this yarn cake. 3+1  with a very gentle color gradient. I’m crocheting with a 3.5 mm hook.

I think when she has it hanging as a display piece at her stand, many people will admire it.
