Using Scraps / Upcycling: Beautiful and Affordable

Dear users, dear authors,
I’m sure you all have scraps / leftover yarn / fabric scraps / paper scraps / cardboard scraps? In this thread, you’ll find charming patterns that can be made using inexpensive scraps.

you can post 2–3 patterns here, each of which must have at least 10 sales / a conversion rate of at least 2%, be doable with scraps, and must not have been promoted in the forum within the past 3 weeks. Don’t forget links, images, info, etc. 

Perfect for leftover yarn, since you only need a few grams for one round: my “Dahlias Sister” mandala :)

In the pattern itself, I crochet with cotton yarn, but you can use any kind of leftover yarn. Just make sure the yarn is similar or the same thickness so the mandala doesn’t warp. 

It’s small, about 20–23 cm (depending on hook size and yarn), so I think the mandala works great as a doily for lanterns, for example 🥰
