Once again, I’ve fulfilled a request and embarked on a new sewing adventure. This time, it’s about making a cover for a laundry basket. In my new blog post, I’ll show you exactly how I did it and just how easy it is.

In summer, I like to crochet with cotton yarn. Find a nice spot in the garden, put your feet up, and you’re ready to get started. 

I love giving away my crocheted dishcloths, so I crochet a few in advance for the next invitation. 

For this pattern, you should know how to make chain stitches, single crochets, and treble crochets. 

You can find the free pattern for the “Nobbig” dishcloth in my blog.

I crocheted something universal for the grandkids: a play ball. We use it for target throwing into a muffin tin or throw it at each other. The filling is either synthetic stuffing—then it is lighter—or rice, then it is heavier. The balls are quick to crochet from a few scraps and are really fun. So you can make toys yourself, too; you don't have to buy them.
