Craft Berry Motifs Now

Dear users, dear authors,
in spring and summer, berries and berry motifs are very popular, so I’m opening an advertising thread here for patterns with berry motifs. Have fun crafting.

Strawberry season is getting closer, and if you need a small, unusual gift package for this time of year, you can make this beautiful strawberry.



The sweet little container is made from photo cardstock and decorated with matching paper motifs (you get these as a PDF file with the pattern). It measures approx. 10 x 11 cm and requires a little experience crafting with heavy paper.

The strawberry potholder with the funny face is a wonderful fit for your kitchen right now. You can crochet it as a single layer or double layer, so you can also slip your hand inside. For a single-layer crocheted potholder, you’ll need:

• approx. 35 g cotton yarn (yardage approx. 85 m/50 g) in red
• approx. 25 g cotton yarn (yardage approx. 125 m/50 g) in green
• leftover cotton yarn (yardage approx. 125 m/50 g) in white
• leftover cotton yarn (yardage approx. 100 m/50 g) in yellow
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• 3.0 mm crochet hook
• 1 thick sewing needle for weaving in ends

The little strawberry child is barely distinguishable from the real fruit, don’t you think? It fits beautifully into seasonal decor, for example if you want to create a seasonal table. But it also looks simply adorable on the windowsill, in the kitchen, or on the coffee table. The strawberry child is about 12 cm tall and can be crocheted from leftovers.
