This month, I posted a blog entry on double-face knitting—specifically, a little guardian angel as a lovely practice piece that can be used as a coaster or even a makeup remover pad. The knitting technique is explained in detail in the post. So if you’ve always wanted to learn double-face knitting, now is the perfect opportunity :-)

In April, I shared a new embroidery motif on the blog. 

Easter may be over, but I think chickens can still be left out for a few more days during the year.

That’s how Pauline on the Chicken Farm came about. 



It’s another smaller motif, 43 stitches high and 49 stitches wide. 

I especially like the border this time.

In March and April I was very creative. This led to various projects for our blog on CP as well. I’m happy to share my ideas and tips with you in blog posts. Take a look and see what you like. Recreating them is expressly allowed!

They are crocheted from leftovers as a small crochet project you can work on in between, and you can always use them.

Blanket in the Sleeping Beauty pattern - knitting pattern

This takes a bit more yarn than the crocheted flowers. You decide the size of your blanket. You can knit it large or very small. For the Sleeping Beauty pattern, only 2 pattern rows are repeated over and over.

One large version for the stroller:



And one small version as a blanket for a doll bed:



And no. 3 comes from the sewing area. Here I built myself a small, narrow ironing board for children’s and doll clothes. I describe how it’s made in this blog post.

In my new blog post, I’ll show you how to knit this motivational “POWER” headband—which you can use, for example, as a sweatband for sports—using the double-face technique. I’ll not only explain the classic double-face method, where the text is mirrored on the back, but also describe how to knit the text so it’s legible on both sides. The simple version is a great introduction to the double-face knitting technique, while the advanced version is a fun challenge for experienced double-face fans :-)
