This patchwork children’s skirt is very well suited for colorful leftover skeins. You’ll have fun knitting it. You can adjust the size yourself by changing the number of patches and the stitch count of the patches.

These pillow boxes are very easy and quick to make, making them an excellent weekend project. They’re great to make in advance, as they fold flat and take up hardly any storage space.



The boxes are made from patterned cardstock and measure approximately 6 x 5 x 1.8 cm, 8 x 7 x 2.5 cm, 10 x 9 x 3.2 cm, 12 x 11 x 4 cm, and 14 x 13 x 4.5 cm.

My Tambourine Shawl works well when knitted with leftover yarn; the center section is knitted with 12 x 10g of yarn, but you can easily adjust the amount to your own taste, since the pattern is worked throughout. For the beginning and ending sections, you’ll need 100g of solid-colored sock-weight yarn.
