here in this thread you’ll find patterns that can be made with just one skein of yarn. Have fun downloading and crafting.

2-3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget links, images, info, etc. All patterns featured here must not have been advertised in the forum in the past 3 weeks and must have at least 10 sales / a CR of at least 2%. 

These exfoliating washcloths can even be knitted with less than one skein. They’ve been a huge hit as gifts, and I’ve even received requests for more. You’ll have fun trying out the different patterns.

To the knitting pattern

Children’s hats don’t require much yarn. 

With a rolled brim and a pretty lace pattern, this would be the perfect hat for the coming spring. 

The Sira hat can be knitted in all sizes. 

1 skein of yarn is easy to find. What can you make from it? Here are a few ideas from me.

Sandbag Doorstop

Maybe you have exactly this kind of colorful variegated skein of yarn left over from a project. It could become a decorative doorstop. It is crocheted and weighs approx. 4 kg. Wherever it stands, drafts don't stand a chance. It reliably holds the door open. You can also crochet it from leftover yarn if you don't have a whole skein. It is suitable for indoors and outdoors.





Crochet Pattern Rug "Spirella"

It is crocheted from a 400 g maxi skein of inexpensive acrylic yarn. We crochet with 3 strands, so we make quick progress. We make the back non-slip. The rug is 75 cm in size, so you're sure to find a nice little spot for it in your home.

For the little beaded pouch, you’ll need far less than one skein—just about 15 g of cotton yarn. The beads are sewn on at the very end, so you don’t have to go through the hassle of threading them before crocheting. The pouch is perfect for storing loose change or makeup. You can also give it as a gift as a case for a rosary for First Communion.
