Spring begins on March 20. Get the right patterns now and get started—it’ll help the gray days pass more quickly.

This little raglan dress for toddlers from size 92 can be knitted in one piece with raglan from the top down. You can work in lots of colorful leftover yarn here. The little dress grows with the child for a while and then simply turns into a tunic. My granddaughter loved it.

To match it, the same little dress can be knitted for the doll (45-50 cm) from the leftovers. That will be double the joy for the doll mom.

Little Bee Hanny  is already longing for the sun to warm the earth and let the first spring flowers grow, so she can finally go searching for flower nectar. After all, delicious honey is supposed to be produced again this year.
I crocheted Hanny from plush yarn and used filet crochet thread as a carry-along thread: yellow carry-along thread with the black plush yarn and black carry-along thread with the yellow plush yarn. This makes the stitches very easy to see while crocheting.



And look, the first cowslips are already blooming! The Flower Child Cowslip is absolutely beside itself with joy and is dancing exuberantly around its flower.
With little crocheted flower children like these, you can decorate your windowsill or seasonal table to suit the season. Small amounts of leftover yarn are enough to make them.


 
And here is another decorating idea for Easter made from leftover yarn: the hearty little chickens! They are called that because their bodies and feet are heart-shaped.They are very easy to crochet and look lovely on flowering branches or pussy willow twigs.

Anli’s Spring Messenger is a simple, cozy spring shawl made from 300g of sock-weight yarn. I knitted it using an alpaca-silk-cashmere blend; the pattern can also be easily shortened by knitting fewer repeats across the width, in which case 200g of yarn will suffice.
