Knitting chart

Hi everyone,

I found a pattern that I really like, but there’s only a photo and a knitting chart that I unfortunately don’t understand... Could one of you maybe explain to me how to knit the crossings?
I can’t find this pattern in any of my books either. To be honest, I find all the books on cable knitting pretty boring because they always feature the same simple cables. I found this pattern on Pinterest.
If you’d rather I not send the picture, please just delete this post.
I just didn’t know what else to do. I’ve tried several versions already, but I’m not getting anywhere...

Thanks! I’m familiar with everything except the dots. What are the dots supposed to represent? As I understand your charts, these are all right-leaning cables. But purl stitches are included too. I’ve knitted different versions based on what I thought it might be, but they always ended up looking very, well… crumpled.
I’ve just put together a pattern from my books and am trying to see if it works. The difficulty, I think, is that the cable has to be shifted to the right because the inner part, the one with the 4 strands, results in an odd number. So it’s off-center... I’m curious to see how it turns out...
Are your charts the translation of the ones I sent?

Try Googling “Burda knitting chart braid knitting symbols.” Then click on “Images.” You’ll see some knitting charts with symbol explanations. Maybe you can figure out how to do it based on those.

The dots mean that the stitches at the back are purl stitches. I was also wondering if the symbols look something like this.
A link would of course be very helpful, but unfortunately that’s not possible either.
Or you could draw the symbols—just list them one below the other. Someone is bound to recognize them.

It’s me again… I just can’t get it right.
So I went ahead and traced it. ;) I hope that’s okay.
Here’s the full chart and then the key parts.
As far as I could tell, the chart came from a Russian woman. Maybe that’s helpful to know. They can’t knit that differently from us, can they?

I had to remove the charts. Even if you’re tracing a knitting chart, intellectual property rights still apply, and tracing it doesn’t circumvent those rights. I’d like to ask you to contact the woman who posted the chart online directly and ask her for help. Since we can’t allow links, third-party images, or exact 1:1 copies of complete knitting charts here, it would really be best if you contacted the woman who posted this knitting chart online directly. Good luck. 

You can just show the individual symbols here. One at a time. Out of context. That’s no problem.
