Help with the math.....

Hi everyone, I’ve started crocheting a summer scarf.

But I only have one ball of yarn, and I’m not sure if my math is right.

I’ve crocheted 13 cm so far. That section weighs 24 grams. So, with 250 grams of yarn, the scarf will definitely be 130 cm long, right?

Or am I calculating it wrong?

Yes, that’s right—you need 1.8 grams for every 1 cm. 1.8 × 130 = 240 grams. Best regards, Sigrid

Or, calculated another way, 1 gram equals 0.54 cm, so 0.54 × 250 = 135 cm.
