I wish the same for you and all our readers.

I’ll be busy making Christmas gifts this weekend. I didn’t get anything done this week because I was taking care of my little grandchildren (daycare was closed). It always gets so hectic right before Christmas… more ideas than time. Other than that, we’ll be cozying up with coffee, cookies, and a fireplace. The decorations are already up—only the big Christmas tree is missing.

Have a wonderful second Sunday of Advent, everyone.

We have a family weekend ahead of us... All the kids and grandkids in the Allgäu.

Unfortunately, it’s raining right now, and all that white splendor is melting away.

Never mind—we’ll enjoy being together.

It’s getting milder here again, but it’s raining—and it’ll probably rain all weekend.
I’m going to work on a few little knitted Christmas gifts and otherwise do a lot of crocheting and reading. I’ve got mulled wine at home, too, so nothing can go wrong.

I finally got around to putting up my Christmas decorations.

  

This too. 
I made the little snowman on the far left myself, out of large pierced wax beads, aluminum wire, a plastic hat, and googly eyes. Only the nose is still missing.
A friend gave me the wooden decoration a while back.

 

Thank you, Josefa, wishing you a wonderful second Sunday of Advent from me too. I’m going to really enjoy it at home with my hubby. My youngest daughter brought this cute little light-up gnome to the hospital for me.
