Crochet a Backpack

Hi everyone,
I just bought a pattern for a crocheted backpack.
Upon closer inspection, I see that this pattern requires three different templates! They are included, but I find it absolutely unacceptable that this can’t be made with one “precise, clearly explained” pattern, especially since you pay for it.
What do you think?

If they’re included, then everything’s fine. It would bother me if you had to buy them separately.
I’ve bought so many patterns here already, and somehow each one has a different way of presenting them. Some have lots of pictures scattered throughout the text, others have them all grouped at the end, and some have hardly any at all; some include crochet charts, others don’t; some have long descriptions, others just brief instructions—you name it, it’s all out there. Some styles suit me better than others, but as long as I can follow the instructions and end up with the result I want, I don’t mind any of it.
