CE Marking on Hats

I now understand that an amigurumi must have a CE marking if you want to sell it, but what about hats that have, for example, cat ears on them? Or a scarf-and-hood combo with dragon scales?
But are they still clearly recognizable as hats or headwear?
And what if the hats are only available in adult sizes?

P.S.: I know this is just layman’s knowledge. I’ve already scheduled a consultation, but waiting is driving me crazy. Maybe someone else has gone through exactly the same thing before. 

Have you checked out ready-made options? For example, children’s carnival costumes often have ears or something like that—are those marked with a CE label?
