These matching wrist warmers are knitted from small leftover bits of merino yarn in a simple yet very pretty pattern. You’ll have lots of fun with them.

These arm warmers are something special: the cable pattern is knitted using only knit and purl stitches. They are made from an alpaca-merino blend that is similar in weight to 4-ply sock yarn. A real eye-catcher!

The pattern for the “Cora” model guides you from the cast-on onward. Pictures show you the individual steps. I’ve included a knitting chart for the cable pattern. 

You should have knowledge of and practice with a set of double-pointed needles and a cable needle. 

These wrist warmers are knitted using the double-face technique—this gives you multiple ways to wear them, depending on your mood or to match the rest of your outfit. Detailed instructions for the double-face knitting technique are also included.

Hand warmers / wrist warmers “Noriaki” in Japanese style are crocheted very quickly with thicker yarn.
After the thumb, there are only about 10-12 rounds to go (depending on the yarn weight and the width of your hand), and then you’re done.

That makes your “Christmas production” progress quickly!

Because of the way these hand warmers are crocheted,
the shape and size form all by themselves.
This way, you can crochet any size you like and use any yarn you have on hand, even colorful leftovers.
