What is a *double rib*?

Can someone please tell me what a double rib is?
I bought a pattern (Bona Notte) and have read through it three times, but I can't find an explanation for it.

Sometimes you can’t see the wood for the trees. It’s there in a huge chart.
In case anyone wants to know:
Row 1 – knit all stitches
Row 2 – purl
Row 3 – knit
Row 4 – knit
Row 5 – purl
Row 6 – knit

I can write, too :-)) Once again, my fingers and the keyboard weren’t in sync when I replied to my post. How nice that you were still able to read it anyway ;-)).
By the way, my double ribs are growing and thriving.
