Knitting Tip: Stitch Holders for Putting Stitches on Hold

I just happened to come across these two types of stitch holders at T..i. I really like using them when I need to set aside a small number of stitches. I highly recommend them—they make it so much easier to pick up the stitches again.



You can surely find larger versions for lots of stitches at craft stores.

I have them in different sizes, too.

For a large number of stitches, I use one of my needle cables and screw a kind of cap onto the ends instead of the needle tips.
