My crocheted Christmas tree ornaments,

I crocheted these pieces about 10 years ago while I was in rehab. I came across them again the other day while looking for something else, so I thought I’d show them to you. Back then, I was still able to crochet such delicate pieces, but unfortunately I can’t do that anymore. I crocheted a total of four sets of these ornaments, because my three daughters all called out, “Me too!” :-)

A lovely memory of your stay at the health resort. You had time for yourself, and these beautiful handmade pieces were the result. And your daughters were delighted with them right away. They’re such lovely keepsakes that you can still use as decorations today. Everything has its time, dear Inge. It’s the same for everyone. You only realize that in hindsight. But you’re sewing wonderful things today.

These are great pendants! I’d love to try crocheting Christmas stars or snowflakes like this myself, but I don’t really like such thin yarn.
