Frisbees

Yesterday I sorted fabrics and such, and found some nice small scraps that worked well for Frisbees [image removed]
I ended up with 4 smaller ones and 5 large ones, and then I was out of lead tape too [image removed]

Frisbees?? How cool is that! Do they have a rigid frame, or do they fly even when “deformed”?

It’s a circle—you sew it closed, turn it right side out, then you’ll stitch about 1.5 cm further around the circle, thread lead tape through the opening at the top, sew it in place, and close the opening with a mattress stitch. These things fly great and have the advantage that you can just toss them in the washing machine when they get dirty :-)

What a great idea!

I’m always amazed at how you can still make use of even the tiniest “scraps.” That’s great!

And if you use thinner aquarium tubing instead of lead tape and sturdier fabrics, like denim, they’re also suitable for dogs 😃
