Magnolias are so beautiful. They’ve already finished blooming here. I walk past three trees every morning on my way to work.

The cherry trees are blooming beautifully here, too. Almost 10 days later than last year.

I just hope my little flowers don’t freeze tonight, because night frost is forecast here.

The street parallel to ours is full of cherry trees—it was a very short-lived pleasure this year, since it’s been raining heavily here nonstop. Almost all the blossoms are already mushy and have fallen off.

Yes, the rain really took a toll on our tree, too. At first I thought everything was going to rot before it even bloomed.

But we had three sunny days over the weekend—so it recovered, and we’ve been enjoying it ever since.

Magnolias always bloom so beautifully. There’s a really big tree on our main street, too. With the lousy weather we had today, there probably won’t be much of that splendor left. The whole sidewalk will be a slippery mess again.

This meadow is next to the shopping center in our village, and it’s blooming like crazy there, too.

We have a flower meadow just like that right in our garden, right next to the house. It looks sooo beautiful. I’m going to grab my camera and head out there to take a few photos of my own. Here’s a peek at the gorgeous inner beauty of our garden tulips. I love them! And they’re even in my favorite colors.

Angelika, you have such beautiful tulips. So colorful—a treat for the eyes and a real mood booster.

The weather here is sunny and warm right now, too, so I’ve been spending a lot of time in the garden.
