It depends on how big they are, but I could imagine making a mobile. Hang them on a natural branch with pretty, colorful ribbons—on the patio so the wind can make the butterflies flutter, or in the entryway. You could also use them to decorate gift wrappings. Or turn them into a lantern by gluing them to the outside of a glass jar and placing a mini string of lights inside. I could also imagine making flower picks out of them. Attach them to a curtain with safety pins if it fits
your decor style. Best regards and have a wonderful weekend, Josefa😀
It really depends on the size, but I could imagine them as appliqués on a jacket—even for adults. Which luxury brand had that blazer covered in butterflies a few years ago? Prada? Versace? I have no idea, but you saw it in every magazine for a while.
I’ve also given away a larger butterfly in a frame and decorated greeting cards with little butterflies. For a golden wedding anniversary, I wrote a poem, glued it onto gold photo cardstock, and attached butterflies to the outside.
Recently, I saw a photo of a crocheted curtain made entirely of flower chains. Butterflies would work great in that, too.
For a birthday coffee party, I crocheted little butterflies. I scattered them across the table as decorations, and the guests were allowed to take them home.
