The little one for the little ones :-) A cute way to use up leftover yarn. A little owl pouch for an apple, an orange, or a few gummy bears for a snack on the go. Always with you, a real eye-catcher.
Easy for beginners to follow along with, and a quick little project for experienced crocheters. A half-used ball of yarn, a crochet hook, and a cozy spot to sit… that’s all you need.
Single crochet stitches, increases, and decreases—that’s the whole secret.

This call inspired me to create this cute baby sweater featuring the crocheted owl Fjodor.

The sweater is knitted and intentionally kept simple. Fjodor, on the other hand, is crocheted and tacked onto the sweater once it’s finished.

Ideal for the littlest ones or as a bag charm—the little rattle owl “Helga.”
This project uses up leftover yarn and wool scraps to crochet around a surprise egg capsule!
Perfect for experienced beginners—all you need are chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, and simple double crochet.

I have 2 new owl ideas for you this June:

1) The adorably sweet owl bridal couple
These two lovebirds are a wonderful gift idea for a wedding, or as a good-luck charm for those who are already happily married.

This project is good practice for crocheters with a little experience and uses chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet.

Using cotton yarn with a yardage of 125 m / 50 g, the two will be approx. 14 cm (bride) and 17 cm (groom) tall.

All further details and the pattern itself are available here: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/16274/eulen-paerchen-braut-und-braeutigam-haekelanleitung

2) A cuddly friend for the littlest ones
You can never become an owl fan too early! So this sweet comfort blanket is an especially adorable and loyal companion for every little new arrival.

Ideal as a birth gift or just because. Your little darling will definitely be delighted!

This project uses especially cuddly baby yarn (e.g., with a yardage of approx. 185 m /50 g) and only requires single crochet, chain stitches, slip stitches, and double crochet. So even beginners with a little experience will quickly have a sense of accomplishment here.

All further details and the pattern itself are available here:

Have fun making and gifting them!

Owls with a different twist...

Whether for a boy or a girl... these moccasins fit every baby!
And as so often: the button sets the trend!
Also an ideal project for using up leftover yarn. Finished in 1–2 hours!
The pattern is designed for a foot length of about 9–10 cm.
However, the included gauge makes it easy to make any size!
You will also find a table of baby and children's shoe sizes (incl. cm measurements) in the pattern.
In addition, the duplicate stitch is explained in detail and illustrated. (owl)

And here’s the pattern...
