I know that a rolled cuff forms when, after casting on, I knit only knit stitches on the right side for many rows / rounds. This way, the cast-on edge has no support and rolls upward, revealing the wrong side.
This is welcome for hats, but for sweaters and the like, people don’t like it quite as much.
Double rolled cuff? Maybe two such rolled cuffs? I’ve seen knitted socks like that before, and I really liked them.
Well, actually three cuffs. You just knit the cuffs—it’s not complicated. Of course, you can make them colorful. I don’t remember how I came up with this idea; I hadn’t discovered crazypattern yet.
@Rubator,
when I start discussions here, it doesn’t mean I don’t have any background knowledge on the topic; it just means I’d like to discuss it with users and authors.
