Knitting rolled cuffs // double rolled cuffs

Dear users, dear authors,
how do you knit rolled cuffs / double rolled cuffs?

I know that a rolled cuff forms when, after casting on, I knit only knit stitches on the right side for many rows / rounds. This way, the cast-on edge has no support and rolls upward, revealing the wrong side. 

This is welcome for hats, but for sweaters and the like, people don’t like it quite as much. 

 

Double rolled cuff? Maybe two such rolled cuffs? I’ve seen knitted socks like that before, and I really liked them. 

Where else do people knit a double rolled cuff?

Well, I saw it yesterday in a sock pattern.
So I created this thread.

You can never have too many of these on socks—I think they’re great.

@RechteMasche - Have you ever knitted any with a double rolled cuff? I really like it, but I’ve never tried it yet. In two colors 😍

There are videos on YouTube that show you how. Or you can buy a pattern that includes exactly that. 

Well, actually three cuffs. You just knit the cuffs—it’s not complicated. Of course, you can make them colorful. I don’t remember how I came up with this idea; I hadn’t discovered crazypattern yet.

Oh, I see. I thought you were asking how to knit them. 

If anyone would like to explain how to knit this, that would be a great idea.
