A few years ago, these cute sneaker-style baby shoes were all the rage. Is the hype over by now?

I still love this style of baby shoes myself, and I’ve already crocheted quite a few to give as gifts.

Sneakers are still popular with adults, too—at least in my family, three generations of us love them. 

Well, Josefa, that’s just how it is in fashion. When something new hits the market, everyone wants to have it or make it. Then, at some point, the market becomes saturated and something new has to come along. If those items manage to stick around on the market anyway, they become timeless classics that you can make and give as gifts time and time again. The creative types of this world thrive on the constant change in what we find appealing.
