Looking for a pattern!

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a tight crochet pattern that’s stretchy and looks the same on both sides. I need it to crochet a pull-loop (in rows). It’s a large, wide loop that’s draped around the body (crossed over the chest). I’d really appreciate any links to such patterns, videos, or crochet charts.

Why not try this very simple pattern: Crochet single crochet stitches, but only work into the back loop. This creates something that looks like brioche knitting. It is usually crocheted sideways.

Isn’t that Grandma’s pot holder pattern?

I also use this pattern—where you only work into the back stitch—when I crochet a cuff for a hat.
