Knitting fonts for Excel?

Does anyone know where I can find a knitting font for the PC?

I create my knitting chart quite simply using characters that I think best represent the respective stitches.
For example, > stands for knit stitch and o stands for yarn over.
I use special characters for some stitches.
I use LibreOffice as my word processor.

Do you mean a program you can use to create charts?
I have Knitcharts on my iPad, which is great for simpler patterns. For more complex ones, I use Stitchmastery on my Mac. It costs money, but it’s worth every penny. It takes a little time to get the hang of it at first, but once you do, it’s very handy.

I'm currently using the free version of Knitting Chart Designer. Unfortunately, I can't save my work because it's a trial version, but I'm thinking about buying the full version. 

Petra, the full version of Knitting Chart Designer is worth it—it’s actually quite affordable. You can also save files as image files with it. I’ve been using it for a while now and get along just fine with it.
