Starting knot in crocheting

Dear users, dear authors,
Are there any tips for the starting knot in crocheting? If I understand correctly, this can sometimes be a bit tricky for beginners?

If you’re having trouble with the magic ring, you can also just start with a regular loop and 2 chain stitches. Then you crochet into the second chain stitch from the hook, and you’ll end up with something like a starting ring.
