I prefer the warmth of grain pillows. I find them more comfortable. Plus, they heat up in the microwave in 2 minutes. Water takes much longer.

I love my hot water bottle in bed at night. I’m going to make a cover for it, too—but a knitted one.

I really like the one with the granny square. Unfortunately, I don’t use a hot water bottle—it’s usually too warm for me at night. 🙈

I don’t use hot water bottles anymore either since I discovered how beautifully and consistently sheepskin keeps you warm (real sheepskin, not artificial plush)—it retains heat all night long if needed, not just for about 2–3 hours until the water cools down. With my osteoarthritis, this continuous warmth is also much better
