A
knitted hat in 8 different sizes—wouldn’t this make a lovely gift for grandpa and grandchild?
It is knitted in knit and purl stitches in the round. For children’s hats, 50 grams of yarn with a yardage of 124 m is enough, for example. For adults, you’ll need 2 skeins.
This
knitted scarf is started narrow, so the width can be adjusted individually. At the end, we decrease again and finish narrow. This makes it easy to hide the ends if you often want to wear the scarf wrapped snugly.
For the pattern, you need to know knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, and knitting stitches together. In the pattern, you’ll find written explanations of the individual rows for increases and the stitch pattern, and I have also included a knitting chart.
