Dear users, dear authors,
did you know that textile yarn is also called T-shirt yarn? I didn't know that; I read it in the product descriptions a few days ago.
Can you actually only crochet with textile yarn, or can you knit with it too?

So far, I’ve only crocheted with it.
When knitting, you’d need really thick needles. And maybe even a cable for lots of stitches. I think it would also get very heavy.
I can’t imagine knitting with textile yarn.
I’m looking forward to more answers.

So far, I’ve only used it for crocheting.
The name comes from the material: jersey—T-shirt fabric.
Years ago, I cut up an old T-shirt into strips and crocheted them into a little wool basket.
A sustainable method. :-)
