Haven’t we seen this before? With ballerina flats and a petticoat?
No, that’s not for me. I prefer to walk barefoot. Well, on the street I’ll wear shoes just to be safe, but not socks—no thanks.
I have no idea—but definitely not when it comes to so-called trends. My go-to look is jeans and T-shirts, but I’m all for keeping things quirky, colorful, and varied. But being so strictly “on-trend”—with all those rules about which colors are an absolute no-go right now—has never really been my thing.
One more thing just came to mind. I like to wear jeans with a slight flare, paired with sneakers or moccasins. When the trend started where jeans ended right at the ankle and you wore sneakers—leaving a bit of your ankle exposed—I thought that was pretty cute too, so I jumped on that bandwagon.
Well, I won’t be jumping on this *sock trend* either—I only wear socks during the winter months, and even then, only ones I’ve knitted myself. The store-bought ones just cut into my skin and pinch around my ankles, so I don’t even have any left in my closet anyway. With some of these so-called trends, I often wonder what these designers are taking with their coffee every morning???🤣🤣😂
Unfortunately, I have to wear socks in my shoes even in the summer because I have very sensitive feet and get blisters or pressure marks right away if I go barefoot in my shoes. So that at least my legs can breathe when it’s hot, I wear ankle socks or, even better, sneaker socks or footies that aren’t visible inside the shoe. (They don’t have to be white.)
