Thank you all! The little black pouch hanging next to it is for my asthma inhaler—I never leave the house without it, since I need it time and time again. This way, I have it right at hand if I need it.

I think I saw that. I think it’s a great idea and a smart precaution. The label makes it immediately obvious to others, too. Anyone who comes across you in an emergency would know there’s something very important inside that could potentially save your life.

Everyone who relies on things like this should take a cue from you. If you carried it in a purse or backpack, you’d have to search for it yourself—laboriously and in a panic. But others would have it right at their fingertips, too.

Actually, pharmacies should give you a bag like this along with your medication. But yours is homemade—and beautiful, too.

Great bag! And it always has little charms—I have them all over mine, too. :-) The emergency pouch is a great idea; rummaging through other people’s bags when you’re in a total rush is definitely very time-consuming!
