large cell phone pouch to wear crossbody

the little bag is a birthday gift for my Sandwich daughter, whose birthday is still coming up this month. It was sewn entirely from fabric scraps. The little bag is large enough that it can also be used as a small crossbody handbag, has an attached zipper pocket on the front and an open pocket on the back so you can quickly slip something in,

I also sewed another little pouch—again, using only scraps. But the scraps aren’t getting any fewer; on the contrary, I have the feeling that the more scraps I take out of my box, the more they seem to multiply ;-) :-) My granddaughter sewed the fish for me, and now it’s a charm hanging from the pouch :-)

That’s such a great bag charm! The bag itself, too—but you probably already know that. How many bags do you actually have? No, I’m not curious at all.... :-)))

Actually, I have a matching bag for every outfit I’ve sewn, plus others that go well with the outfits or are neutral. However, I also give away many of the bags I sew—they’re especially popular with my daughters and granddaughters because I make them exactly the way they want. Each of my grandchildren has a spacious sports and travel bag I sewed for them, as well as backpacks, etc. I’ve never counted them, because some are reworked after only a short time and turned into a different bag—often, it’s only in practical use that I realize whether a bag is easy for me to handle or not, so I just rework it.
