Ready for a vacation? Where are you taking your craft projects this year?

Dear users, dear designers,
Do you have vacation plans, and if so, how much yarn are you taking with you on vacation?

Vacation plans??
We just want to take a few day trips around the area, like to Heidelberg and Mannheim (I wanted to see the castle).
My yarn is staying home.

Our vacation is already over. We spent a week with family in France.

I brought a whole bag full of yarn with me. There wasn’t much time for crafting. I finished my shawl—just need to weave in the ends. I started a dishcloth. 





Those were lovely days 

We’ll only go on a trip if it works out, since my husband and I are on vacation all year round :-) thanks to our retirement :-)

They’ll be staying home with me—just like they have for several years now.

Maybe I’ll take a day trip sometime.

My craft supplies will travel no further than the balcony, but it’s very nice there, too.

We’re going to Lake Bostal in C..P... this year.

We actually wanted to go last year, but we had to postpone it.

We’ll see what I end up taking with me :)
Most of the time, my yarn just sits around unused on vacation anyway.

We went on vacation without any yarn —there wasn’t any room left in the suitcase. We did so much that there wasn’t any time to crochet anyway. It was still a bit strange, though.

The vacation’s over for now. We went to Hamburg to see the Tina Turner musical, visited the Landungsbrücken, and walked along the Reeperbahn; then we headed to Kühlungsborn on the Baltic Sea. We took the Molli train to Bad Doberan, spent a day in Rostock—beach, Ferris wheel, ice cream, coffee and cake, fish sandwiches…
yep, and just like that, it was over.

It was really nice.

I’m also only taking day trips to nearby areas. With gas prices what they are, I’m not planning any longer drives. Plus, our garden needs tending.

In September, we’re heading to Lake Constance for a family gathering, but only for a few days.
