Mosaic Fever

Finished another big granny square. Started today, and now it’s done. It’s so much fun when new patterns keep emerging.

Andrea, your mosaics turned out great again. 

When I think of mosaic crochet, you’re the first person who comes to mind, dear Andrea. You were the first person I ever admired using this technique. Your early work was already great, but now you’ve truly mastered it. Back then, you started out making just squares. But now you’re combining them and assembling them into new creations. Together, they’re even more impressive. You’re immediately tempted to take a close look at them all and pick out the prettiest one.

It’s wonderful that you enjoy this technique so much. That’s the key to creating many more beautiful, creative pieces. And every mosaic is unique because of its patterns and colors.

Your enthusiasm is contagious! I’m sure some people will be inspired by your work to give it a try. That’s how it always starts. But I won’t be one of them—otherwise I’ll get sidetracked. My interests lie elsewhere (for now). But I love looking at your work.
