How was your May? Are you doing okay? What are you up to in June?

Hi Josefa,

May was a mixed bag (weather-wise), a bit stressful at work, but great for crafts.
I’m wrapping up May today with some dancing—together with my parents.

June starts with five early morning shifts, and in mid-June I’m finally going on vacation. I’m really ready for a break.
Two whole weeks. We’ll catch up on the Tina Turner musical (it was postponed because of COVID). Maybe a few days at the Baltic Sea, too. We’ll see what happens.

Sales-wise, May was so-so, and behind the scenes, it was very busy. I still have three e-books lined up for June, two of which are already well underway. We’re also in the home stretch before summer break—time is running short...

Amid all the hustle and bustle, my sewing machine is my haven and anchor.

I’ve been working on a knitted blanket for ages—there was always something else I had to do, so I didn’t really make much progress. But now I’m really in the home stretch, and then in June I’d like to crochet a few things and do some sewing again. Inge’s gang of stuffed animals really gets your creative juices flowing, and I’ve got quite a few sewing patterns lying around here.

May was okay.
Starting in June, I’ll be working on two fronts: creating patterns for my book project and for the shop.

Other than that, I’ll see what comes up.

My May was really nice, peaceful, and pleasant.

I spent a lot of time in the garden, planted some vegetables, and enjoyed my days off.

As for crafts, I wasn’t very active and don’t have much to report. I’m still working on my shawl—for some reason, my knitting chart isn’t quite right, and I’m unraveling more than I’m knitting.

In June, we’re going on a week-long family vacation—it’s going to be wonderful.
