Today I sewed a teddy bear without joints for a change; it’s a Gorex sewing pattern that I’ve had lying around for a very long time.

He’s so cute! And since he doesn’t have any joints, he’s perfect for cuddling. Since it’s “a girl,” I wouldn’t put a blue scarf on him, but rather something more suitable for a “girl.”

Thanks, Marlies! Its sitting height is about 32 cm, and I’m not really sure where it’ll end up yet, but I want to sew another one like this. I still have some pink plush fabric and enough big eyes for one more—then I’ll have to reorder. My husband is definitely head over heels for Rosenrot :-)

That’s the cutest teddy bear of all, Inge. It looks so adorable and cuddly. I wouldn’t want to part with it either.

That one’s super cute too and looks really cuddly! But the little chocolate crumb has—how do you put it…—more character.
I have three groups of teddy bears living with me. The first are the old ones from my childhood—they’re as old as I am and have been with me my whole life.
Then there are the ones I’ve sewn myself, which are, of course, very special.
But then there are also the real characters—the ones with personality—discovered here and there at flea markets, online, or elsewhere. One of them looks at me, and I know right away: I have to take him home.
