Hello, dear doll moms

—the new arrival is here. Let me introduce myself. I’m Laura. My doll mom has caught the baby bug too, but she’s soooo happy.
Finally, Kruemel has a playmate.

The two of them are just so cute

  

Oh Andrea, those two are sooo adorable and are a perfect match. Your Kruemel looks really happy. I’m so happy for you. It’s so nice that your little one has a sibling now, too.

The baby bug is going around—yes, that’s so sweet of you to say. Today my Sternchen got a little brother; I’ll post about that later in a separate thread. They’re such a cute pair, too. And now my “kindergarten” is complete. I’m determined to keep it that way. ;-)

You have a very pretty girl and an absolutely adorable pair of siblings there. The two of them look very content. You’re sure to have lots of fun together. I’m sure the needles are already clacking away so the girls can get something nice to wear. I’m already looking forward to seeing it.

The two in the doll’s crib look absolutely adorable — it instantly warms your heart. If that doesn’t make you melt, there’s no hope for you. So just enjoy the two of them and crochet, knit, or sew some lovely things for them. I really like the colorful bedding too.

Well, that’s quite the duo—they’re sooo cute, those two.
You guys are into dolls, and I’m into teddy bears—I just can’t resist them. But I sew them myself, because I often form a special bond with the teddy I make, and I usually only give my teddy bears away to places where I know they’ll be well taken care of. So often, I already know what the teddy’s name will be as soon as I take the first few stitches. :-)

Inge, I can totally imagine you forming a loving bond with your teddy bears—after all, you practically gave birth to them. I’ve been a teddy bear lover since I was a baby, and I still am today. I’ve only recently gotten into dolls, because back in the day, there weren’t any cute, soft dolls like there are now. They were always too stiff for me.

It’s so nice when we keep the child in us alive, no matter how. The main thing is that it brings us joy.

Andrea, I really don’t want to say this… but guess what? I just spotted your Laura in my swap group… and adopted her without hesitation. So now Sternchen will soon get to be a big sister and look after a little brother and a little sister. I think she’ll like that. So, another one to dress up. (Not that I have anything else to do… grin).

Monika, are you going to have to expand soon, or how’s the space situation over there?...lol

Oh, Monika, you’ve done it again. Congratulations. As repeat offenders, we all just have such big doll-mom hearts. With all these cute babies, it’s impossible not to melt. It’s nice to know I’m not alone.

Unfortunately, my little one is still sweating buckets in her winter clothes. The poor thing has to wait a bit longer for her summer collection. It really breaks my heart.

How many doll babies do we actually have here now?

P.S. My Laura can also talk when you press her tummy, and her eyes close when you lay her down.

Oh, Andrea, it’s really lovely to be understood here. Yes, my doll-mum heart really is big. I just couldn’t leave the little one standing there all alone in the swap section. It was pure coincidence that I found her, too... I’m already excited.

No, I don’t need an extension yet. There’s always room for a little one like that. They have a corner of the sofa all to themselves, and the rest sit in the rocking chair. Our landlord was here the other day and just grinned... just between us, he still reads old Mickey Mouse comics... I’m always happy when I meet people who’ve kept the child inside them alive.

Well then, I wish you all a wonderful weekend—I have the weekend off.

So dancing is on the agenda again, and on Sunday for Mother’s Day I’ve invited my parents out to dinner (we’re going to a Greek restaurant).

Andrea, my Lara has been here since Saturday, too. So Sternchen is thrilled to have this sweet little sister. Yes, I’ve named her Lara—it just seems to suit her so well. She’s such a ray of sunshine. I just have to look at her and I’m instantly in a good mood.

Andrea and Marlies, yeah, you’re right. I also think they look really lively in their own pretty clothes. I’m having so much fun with the little rascals. Luckily, they’re all easy to take care of... ;-)

My little Lara wants to show you her new little dress. She’s wearing leggings underneath and a headband. I’m knitting a sweater to go with it, which will complete the set.
