Reversible patterns are patterns for projects that (as the name suggests) can be turned inside out. This creates a different look. This is often the case with hats: reversible hats can be worn either way. The two sides are usually different.
A relatively simple technique, for example, is double knitting. This allows you to knit different motifs on both sides.
Of course, this also works for sewing projects. Here, two identical layers of fabric are sewn together so that the garment can be turned inside out and worn on either side. However, you must make sure that the seam allowances aren’t visible on either side.
With stretchy fabrics, you can sew reversible shirts where the back can be worn as the front. This gives you, for example, different neckline shapes.
In crocheting, there are also patterns that look good from both sides. These are also suitable for reversible shirts.
And you can even crochet reversible amigurumi. One example is my “Nikolausi-Osterhasi,” which you can transform from a St. Nicholas into an Easter bunny by turning it inside out.

I’m sure there are also craft projects that can be turned inside out. But I’m not very familiar with those…
