I’m looking for “Bombi”

Hi everyone, maybe you can help me out.

I’m looking for a children’s book series that I read when I was a kid. That must have been about 55 years ago.

I remember a nickname—I think it was for the little brother—and it was “Bombi.”

That name popped back into my head recently, and I can’t get it out of my head.
Has anyone else read these books, or do you know them from your children or grandchildren?

I’d be so happy if anyone knows what they are.

Could it be BOMBI BITT UND ICH? It’s about the adventures of two mischievous boys. I found it online.

Hi Julia,
no, unfortunately that’s not it. The “Bombi” I’m looking for is (if I remember correctly) the little brother in a brother-and-sister pair. They also had a dog.
The book’s title is probably more like the sister’s name, but I just can’t think of it.
