Hi everyone,
bi-elastic (jersey) fabric means it stretches in every direction. Does that mean the grainline doesn’t matter when cutting out the pattern?

No, you still have to follow the grainline, because otherwise even two-way stretch fabric will twist at the waist, and the side seam will shift to the front. There’s a good reason why it is the way it is ;-)

Oh, I guess I’ll have to look very closely to see which way the fine stitches run. I’ll need a magnifying glass for that.

Ina, you can tell by stretching it. Bi-elastic fabric stretches more widthwise than lengthwise.
