Do you have any tips on sewing hoodies / sewing pullovers / sewing hooded sweatshirts?

Would anyone else like to add anything?

What kind of tips are you looking for? Sewing patterns? Or maybe instructions on how to sew them?
If you’re looking for sewing patterns, are you looking for ones for kids or for adults? 

There are always beginners here in the forum who don’t have much sewing experience yet.

What would you tell a beginner who wants to sew a hoodie? Should the fabric be stretchy or not? Which hoodie fabric is best for beginners? Are there any tips for sewing on the pouch pocket and the hood? Are there any tips for the cuffs?

Sweatshirt fabric works best for hoodies. Hoods are usually lined with jersey. Fabric recommendations are usually included with the sewing pattern.

Beginners might want to start by sewing a hoodie with raglan sleeves. It’s easier that way :).
